We are thrilled to share the news that Pixelab Studios has won not just one but three prestigious Telly Awards in the record-breaking 44th Annual Telly Awards! We are grateful to our incredible team, amazing clients and invaluable partners who have made this remarkable achievement possible.
The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring video and television across all screens. Established in 1979, The Telly Awards receives over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents.
Let’s take a moment to celebrate our victories:
Silver Telly Award
As members of the School of Science and Engineering community, students contribute to scientific advancement as they prepare for exciting and rewarding careers in environmental and forensic sciences, physics, chemistry and biology. To assist with recruitment efforts in various formats (web, social, paid campaigns), we produced a promotional video targeted at prospective students ages 16 to 18 who want to hear from students in these programs. Highlighting student experiences, what they do and how they interact with each other and faculty on projects helped bring these programs to life.
Bronze Telly Award
Crews Control is a WBE-certified traffic control company with certified flaggers and support staff for any project. To showcase Crews Control’s commitment to crew safety, Pixelab Studios produced a 30-second online commercial safety video highlighting the dangers of not paying attention while driving through an active work zone. The video was advertised on social media during National Work Zone Awareness Week in April.
Bronze Telly Award
The Mission of Community Care Connections is to provide programs and services that empower children and adults with disabilities to live more safely and independently in their homes, schools, neighborhoods and communities. To assist with recruiting new employees, Pixelab Studios produced an upbeat and friendly recruitment video that reflects its mission of providing services that empower individuals with disabilities to choose the direction of their life. The video features interviews with caregivers talking about their work and footage of the staff interacting with participants to show how the employee makes all the difference in the lives of the people they serve.
The Telly Awards recognize exceptional video and television content across all screens. These awards are judged by industry leaders from top-notch video platforms, television networks, streaming services and production companies. We were delighted to hear the words of Sabrina Dridje, the Executive Director of Tellys, who remarked, “The caliber of the work this season coming from creators such as Pixelab Studios truly has reflected the theme of breaking out and standing out. Our industry is experimenting with new technologies like never before, crafting truly compelling stories to draw attention to some of the world’s most pressing issues, and companies big and small are turning to more sustainable practices to break the cycle of past production processes.”
