Steps We Take is a city-wide event in Pittsburgh celebrating the many sets of steps found within the city. In the West End of Pittsburgh, Bradford Mumpower partnered with the West End Community Group, Bike Pittsburgh and the Office of Public Art to organize a unique fashion show incorporating the Sanctus Street Steps as part of its runway.

Event Highlight videos effectively showcase live events by summarizing the day and creating promotional material for the next event. Utilizing a three-minute highlight video is an easy and effective way of communicating the message of the Steps We Take initiative. Bradford brought awareness to the city steps by highlighting them within an approx. 100-yard runway showcasing several local fashion designers. Using a combination of live-action video, staged clips, and an interview with Bradford, we showcased the unique fashion show utilizing the Sanctus Street Steps within its runway. The video concludes with a call to action, directing viewers to get outside and walk the city steps – “You’ll be surprised at where they take you.”
