For 102-year-old World War II veteran Russell Hendersen, his wish of flying in a hot air balloon was granted thanks to Don’t Stop Dreamin’. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit fulfills the Dreams of residents at Quality Life Services and patients of Three Rivers Hospice. Their goal was to share insight into the types of Dreams they can fulfill and how you can help be a part of the Dream-making process.

Don’t Stop Dreamin’s mission is to provide joy and love to as many residents and patients as possible. Through the help of sponsors, donors, staff and family members, Don’t Stop Dreamin’ has been able to fulfill many Dreams, even though funding can often be scarce for nonprofits. The organization arranged for Russell to travel to Lancaster, PA, to The US Hot Air Balloon Team, whose specially-equipped basket provides accessibility for individuals in wheelchairs. As you’ll see, Russell had a great time and loved his journey through the air.
